"A really lovely few hours at Newquay Zoo"
We had a really nice day out at Newquay Zoo with the kids. The place seemed clean and well looked after, and the staff we spoke to were friendly. We managed to see most of the animals without much waiting around, which was great. It’s probably just the right size for a few hours, especially with children, as it didn’t feel too tiring. I’d definitely consider going again

"Nice day out, but little pricey"
We had okay time overall. Tickets felt a bit expensive for what was there, but kids still had fun and that made it worth it in the end

We had a good time at the zoo overall, but the food options were basic. I checked the receipt afterward and it felt a little pricey for what we got, especially the drinks. Everything tasted fine, just nothing special. Would be great if they added a few more snack choices around the place.

Went to Newquay Zoo with the kids and, the parking bit made everything feel way less stressful from the start.
We got a space quick, didn’t have to do that annoying driving round and round thing, and it was close enough to the entrance so the walk with all the bags and snacks wasn’t a big deal.
Paying was easy too, and leaving after was fine. Just really handy if you’ve got kids with you, or you just don’t want any messing about before a day out.

"We had an okay day at..."
We had an okay day at the zoo, and to be fair, most of the place looked tidy enough. I might be being a bit picky, but by the afternoon the toilets weren’t in the best shape and I noticed a few bins that were full. It wasn’t horrible or anything, I just kind of expected it to be a little cleaner for a family day out.

"Handled the crowds way better than most places"
It was busy when I went, but the queues moved a lot faster than I expected. Compared to other places where a crowd makes everything feel chaotic, this felt really well managed and never too packed.

"Still a great day, even with on-and-off rain"
We went on one of those days where the weather couldn’t really make up its mind, but it didn’t spoil the trip at all. From my point of view, it actually made the day feel a bit more relaxed because there was plenty to wander around and see between the showers. When the rain did come in, there were enough indoor areas and covered spots to duck into without feeling like we were stuck waiting around. I was also pleasantly surprised that the paths stayed decent and didn’t turn into a muddy mess. Overall, it ended up being a really enjoyable day out despite the weather

"So easy with kids"
Loved how simple Newquay Zoo was to get around. Easy. The layout makes sense, and you can do a nice loop without feeling like you’ve missed half the place. We had the buggy with us and the paths were totally fine, plus there were plenty of spots to stop when the kids needed a break. Calm. Even when the little ones started getting tired, it still felt manageable. Would definitely go back.

"Sweet little gift shop"
We stopped by the gift shop after our day at the zoo and it was actually really nice. They had some lovely little bits and something about it felt really welcoming. The staff were friendly, the prices weren’t too bad, and the kids were chuffed with their souvenirs. I’d definitely pop in again.

"So many more animals than I thought"
Had a really nice day here... i was surprised by how many different animals there were to see. The kids stayed interested the whole time, which doesn’t always happen! The penguins, monkeys, and big cats were probably my favourites. Yeah, I’d definitely go again.

"Really nice day out with the kids"
We took our two kids here over half term and they had a really lovely time. It was easy to get around with the buggy, and there was plenty to look at without it feeling massive or overwhelming. The staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful, and there were a few nice little play areas and spots to sit down for snacks. Just a relaxed, easy sort of family day out really. We’d probably go again

"Nice day out, but not sure it felt worth the price"
We had a decent day overall, but I did come away feeling a bit mixed. A few of the enclosures looked quite tired and on the small side, which was a shame to see. Some areas were really nice and well kept, so it wasn’t all bad, but for what we paid I expected things to feel a bit better maintained.

The staff were mostly friendly and would say hello or help when we asked questions, which I appreciated. A couple of them did seem a bit rushed, though, and I wasn’t always sure if I was catching them at a bad time or if they just weren’t that approachable.
Overall, it was fine and definitely not a bad experience. I might be overthinking it, but I do feel like the service could’ve been a little warmer in a few moments.

"Great first impression and well cared for animals"
My first impression of Newquay Zoo was really positive — it felt clean, calm, and well looked after as soon as we arrived. The animals all looked healthy and settled, with plenty of space, and the staff came across like they genuinely cared about them. It was nice to see that animal welfare seems to be taken seriously. We had a lovely day out and left feeling good about supporting the place.

"Good talks, bit mixed"
Had a nice day at Newquay Zoo overall. The keeper talks were the highlight for us. Staff were friendly and clearly knew their stuff, especially at the penguins and big cats.
Some bits felt a bit too short though. Also wasn’t always obvious where to stand or when things were starting. A few areas looked a little tired. Still fun, just expected a bit more for the price

"I took my kids to Newquay Zoo and..."
I took my kids to Newquay Zoo and, to be fair, we had a really good day. The animal talks were probably the highlight for us, simple to follow, not dragged out, and the kids actually came away remembering things, which doesn’t happen every day.
That said, some of the signs could definitely be clearer, and a few areas looked like they’ve maybe been left a bit longer than they should have. Still, overall it was a lovely visit and a good way for the kids to learn without it feeling too much like school.
